Anne Neyens, or alter ego ‘Annie Mation’, is a Belgian artist living in Maastricht, The Netherlands. With her masters degree in the Audiovisual Arts she started her career as a visual development artist where she thrived and got to work for big names such as Disney, LEGO® and Pharrell Williams. With experience in concept art, character- and set design, she now launches her new multidisciplinary design studio The Mationary.
In a world of digital renders, Anne brings the art of the handmade back into design. Each line is a quiet rebellion against the sterile and the predictable. We create the old-world way, through expressive hand-drawn design that carries warmt, character and soul. Thoughtfully crafted with the same reverence an apothecary once reserved for rare ingredients.
